The Concept

The Mobile chocolate tank has been developed in consultation with some of the largest manufacturers of chocolate to meet the demand for smaller quantities of liquid chocolate or were greater flexibility of location is required as an alternative to supplying in solid form with all the associated issues connected with multiple handling, cooling waste disposal etc, Or of supply in liquid form via tankers were minimum delivery can be several tonnes which may be difficult to accommodate.

The mobile tanks which are available in both New and Reconditioned formats allow for greater flexibility for both internal and multiple manufacturing locations. These tanks can be free moving or moved via forklift trucks within the plants or directly on to road transport when required to go off site. This therefore gives the added benefit of helping to save space by reducing the need for separate bulk storage and additional complex pipe work.

Technical Features

Construction

The tank itself can be constructed from all Stainless Steel or clad with plasticised steel as required whilst the lid is made from polypropylene. They are fully insulated on base, sides and cover.

Access The front of the cover is hinged, enabling access to the fill point, vent, filter and the stirrer drive unit. The front of the cover is secured by adjustable over-centre catches which can also have a tamperproof seal fitted.

Heating

A low heat source, which is electrically powered and thermostatically controlled with overheating protection, is fitted to the base and shell. An additional heating circuit can be fitted for melting.

Controls

A Control Panel is fitted to the base with mains electricity feed socket and isolator. The stirrer controls include a low temperature cut out switch and the heating control has temperature reading and password protected variable settings. The front of the control panel has a lockable door and all circuits are fused.

Stirrer A stirrer is installed within the tank to sweep the sides and base or a heavier duty gate stirrer for melting can be included. Bespoke Design We can Design In or amend the current format to accommodate most specific requirements you might have.
